A short AlUla guide
AlUla is best between October and March; outside that window the desert sun is unforgiving. Hegra (Madain Saleh) is a 25-minute drive from town and requires a separate Royal Commission permit. Sharaan Reserve and the Maraya mirrored hall are essentials. Many of our heritage villas were once family homes inside the old town — now restored for guests.
