Host Agreement
Version 1.0 — Effective 19 July 2026
The Arabic text prevails in case of any conflict with this English translation.
1. Parties and purpose
This Agreement is between Ghatta Almaskan (sole proprietorship, CR 7050250278, MoT licence 73109873) (the "Platform") and you as the "Host" listing a tourist accommodation unit on the Platform. By accepting it you agree to its terms in addition to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. Host eligibility and licensing
- You must own the Unit or be legally authorised to manage and let it.
- You must hold a valid MoT permit for each Unit you list and keep it current throughout the listing.
- You acknowledge that listing a Unit without a valid permit is a regulatory violation for which you are responsible, and the Platform may remove the listing immediately.
- You comply with all relevant Saudi laws, including MoT regulations and VAT where it applies to you.
3. Listing and content
- You provide accurate information and photographs reflecting the actual Unit and services; misleading or non-matching content is prohibited.
- You grant the Platform a non-exclusive licence to host and display your listing content for marketing and booking.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the price, availability, and cancellation policy you set.
4. Commission and payouts
The Platform earns a commission of 10% of the displayed Unit price on each confirmed booking. The Guest is charged the Unit price plus the Guest service fee; you are paid the Unit price less the Platform commission (10%). Any promotional rate granted to you is discretionary and may be amended on notice.
- Payouts are made to your registered bank account / IBAN per the Platform's payout cycle.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your bank details; the Platform is not liable for incorrect details you provide.
5. Security deposit
If you require a Security Deposit against damage, it is arranged and settled directly between you and the Guest; it does not pass through the Platform and you may not claim it from the Platform. The Platform shows its amount and the method of payment and return to the Guest before booking; it is paid to you before the Guest enters the Unit, and you return it at the end of the stay less any agreed deductions for damage. Disputes about it are between you and the Guest.
6. Your obligations to the Guest
- Honour every confirmed booking and provide the Unit as described.
- Register guest identity at the Unit as required by law; you may hand over the Unit only to the person who holds the booking.
- Comply with the statutory service-failure protections — equivalent alternative or prompt refund — where the Unit cannot be provided, including an essential-utility interruption over two hours or where the Guest cannot be enabled to check in with a confirmed booking.
- Keep guest data confidential and do not use it for any purpose without consent.
7. No circumvention of the Platform
You may not invite Guests to pay, communicate, or complete a booking outside the Platform in a way that circumvents this Agreement or avoids commission. Breach may result in suspension of your account and cancellation of pending bookings, without prejudice to the Platform's right to claim commission due. The Security Deposit, settled directly between you and the Guest under Section 5, is excluded from this restriction.
8. Suspension and termination
The Platform may suspend or remove your listings or close your account on breach of this Agreement or the law, loss of permit, or repeated documented complaints. You may terminate on notice; obligations for existing confirmed bookings survive.
9. Liability
You are responsible for your Unit, its condition and safety, and your obligations to the Guest. The Platform acts as an intermediary and, to the extent permitted by law, is not responsible for the condition of the Unit, the Security Deposit, or any dispute between you and the Guest. This does not affect the Guest's statutory rights.
10. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia; disputes are subject to the competent Saudi courts and MoT mechanisms where applicable.
